Irene Hernandez

Irene Adame Hernandez, 71, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 am Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at St. Johns Catholic Church with Deacon Zeferino Jimenez, officiating.

Irene was born July 6, 1943 in La Boquilla, Chihuahua, Mexico to Manuel and Ernestina Adame. Nothing brought more joy to her life than being with her family that she loved dearly. Irene had a love for people and she cooked for many. She never knew a stranger and never held grudges toward people.

She is preceded in death by her parents brother, Apolinar Adame and sister, Sofia Adame.

Survivors include her husband, Cornelio son, Oscar Hernandez and wife Laura of Borger, Jaime Hernandez and wife Michelle of Borger, Octavio Hernandez of Salem, Oregon daughters, Zoraida Hernandez of Borger, Manuela Felan and husband Greg of Borger, Mary Felan and husband Joseph of Lubbock brothers, Hector Adame of Borger, Ruben Adame of Borger, Laurencio Adame of Fort Davis, Texas sisters, Alicia Hernandez of Presidio, Basilisa Valeriano of Pecos, Graciela Marquez of Borger, Velia Leyva of Presidio, Elfida Soto of Pecos seventeen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
