Irma Butler

Irma Griffin Butler, 92, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013 in Amarillo. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 5, at the First United Methodist Church of Borger. Arrangements are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Irma was born in Childress, Texas to Ed and Lillian Mae Griffin. She married William Butler in August 1943 in Childress. Irma taught school in the Borger and Dumas schools. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Borger.
She was preceded in death by her husband William in November 2008.
Irma is survived by her sons William Butler and wife Sandy of Denton, Texas and Greg Butler and wife Debbie of Amarillo daughter Bretta Butler of Ft. Worth, Texas Grandchildren Eric and Abby Butler, Brent and Heather Casados, Brad Butler, Lindsey and James Murphy, Whitney Butler Holt and husband Wayne GreatGrandchildren Blake and Ava Butler, Brayden and Berkley Murphy.
Family request that memorials be made to the American Lung Association.
