Isidra Varela Salcido

Isidra Olaya Varela Salcido, 54, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at St. John Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.  The Rosary will be recited starting at 6 pm on Monday, September 4, 2023, at funeral home.

Isidra was born December 29, 1968, in Mexico to Manuel Varela and Juana Salcido Varela.  She enjoyed playing the lottery, cooking, baking, and listening and dancing to music.   Nothing brought more joy to her life than being with her family.

She is preceded in death by her father, Manuel Varela.

Survivors include her husband, Alejo Morales; mother, Juana Varela; daughters, Ivonee Morales, Alejandra Morales; sisters, Martha Varela and husband Juan, Socorro Varela; brothers, Miguel Varela, Manuel Varela and wife Blanca, Pedro Varela and wife Laura, Luis Varela and wife Lizi, Mario Varela; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
