Ivan Kozel Thompson, 64, died Tuesday, September 11th in Amarillo, Texas.BRBRMemorial services will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday at Borger Church of God on Franklin St. in Borger with Pastor Bill Ratchford and Rev. Darrell Bonjour, pastor of Paramount Baptist Deaf Church officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMr. Thompson was born on March 1, 1943 in Borger. He had lived in Amarillo for 10 years, moving there from Spokane, Washington. He was a retired postal clerk for the US Post Office. He was a member of the Paramount Church for the Deaf in Amarillo.BRBRSurvivors include his mother - Maxine Moe of Borger, son - Bevan Thompson of Airway Heights, Washington, three daughters - Linda Bouck and Betty Rolle both of Airway Heights, Washington, Angie Thompson of Englewood, CA., sister - Betty Albo of Carson City, Nevada,Grandmother Frances Poindexter of Borger, Tx. and five grandchildren.
