Jack F. Hampton, 89, of Borger, died Monday, February 6, 2012 in Borger

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev Leonard Forsythe of Bible Baptist church officiating. Interment will follow In the garden of Devotion at Highland Park cemetery. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Jack Hampton was born August 26, 1922 in Danville, Arkansas to Arthur and Helen Hampton. He was in the Army Air Force during WW II, a member of the Bible Baptist church, and was a retired painter. Jack married Zelma Opal Ross December 7, 1956 in Borger, and was a member of the American Legion, B.P.O.E. lodge 1581, and VFW.

Survivors include several nieces, and nephews close friends, Misti Hill and Jerry D. Ingram, both of Borger.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Opal, June of 1993.
