Jack E. Lawson, 84, passed away Monday, September 2, 2013.
Funeral service will be held 11 am Friday, September 6, 2013 at Keeler Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Jack was born August 13, 1929 in Poolsville, Oklahoma to Charley and Ethel Lawson. He married Velma Tietz in Borger on February 16, 1951. Jack proudly served the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed fishing, camping but most of all watching his children and grandchildren playing sports.
He is preceded in death by his parents sisters, Faye Howell, Billie Ruth Williams and brothers, Donald and Elmer Lawson.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Velma of the home sons, Jackie Wayne Lawson and his wife, Renea, Steven Earl Lawson all of Borger daughters, Janet Marie Parsons and her husband, Reggie of Arlington grandchildren, Kyle Lawson, Regan Parsons and his wife, Audre, Jarett Parsons and his wife, Alecia, Paige Talamo, Derrick Dixon and his wife, Kiley, Andrea Lawson, Arrika Mitchell and her husband, Tyler, Jay Hebard, Rylee Lawson, Kyndall Gordon and her husband, Chad, Cory White and his wife, Stacey great grandchildren, Kinsley Parsons, Ava Parsons, Avery Talamo, James Lawson, Mason Mitchell, Madison Gordon, Levin White brothers, Keith Lawson and his wife, Judy of Detroit, Michigan, Paul Lawson and his wife, Diana of Lewisville, Texas, Larry Lawson and his wife, Teresa of Ardmore, Oklahoma and sisters, Pat Antuna and her husband, Jimmy, Shirley Barrick and her husband, Mike all of Ardmore, Oklahoma.
