Jackie Gallentine

Jackie Marlene Gallentine, 90 of Sanford passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022, in Amarillo. Funeral services will be 10:00 am at Minton Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. Cremation will be under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Jackie was born September 5, 1931 in Quail, TX to Jack Murray and Virginia Pauline (Hughes) Council. She had been resident of Sanford for 45 years. She attended First Baptist Church of Borger. Jackie loved to collect cups, hummingbirds, and was an avid garage seller.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband of 25 years Robert Byron Fisher and husband of 25 years James Manley Gallentine; sons Olen Lee Fisher and Donald Crawford; sisters Shirley Back, Dora Holliway, Dorothy Duke and Dorothy Theisen.

Surviving is her son Robert Fisher of Alvin, Texas; brother Jack Murray Council Jr of Fritch, Texas; sister Norma Laverne Council of Sanford, Texas; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and one on the way.
