Jackson Ray Jack Whaley, 84, died Saturday, October 27th in Borger., Texas. BRBRServices will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Sizemore, pastor officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Serenity at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMr. Whaley was born on October 12, 1923 in Holdenville, Oklahoma and had been a Borger resident for 61 years. He marrried Loretta Barnett on May 18, 1946 in Holdenville, OK. He retired as an iron worker after 35 years at Panhandle Steel Erectors, Inc. He was a member of the Iron Workers Local Union 263 for 60 years and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He served in the US Army during WW II. He was preceded in death by one grandson, three brothers, one sister and his parents.BRBRHe is survived by his wife, Reta of the home, son - Ronny Whaley and wife, Brenda of Katy, Tx., daughter - Reta J. Field and husband, Garry of Pampa, two sisters - Virginia Brewer of Cedar Hill, MO, Oleta Smith of Muskogee, OK, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.BRBRCasket bearers will be Reece Field, Darin Field, Braden Whaley, Shawn Tatom, Bobby Bridges and Brad Lindbloom.BR
