Blaze Coffee, 20, died Tuesday, September 8, 2009 in Amarillo.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Zimmerman, Pastor officiating. Interment will be in Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.
Blaze was born on August 9, 1989 in Amarillo and was a lifetime resident of Panhandle. He graduated from Panhandle High School in 2008, and played football, and was in track and power lifting during high school. Blaze was a college student at Amarillo College and was planning to later attend West Texas AM University in Canyon. He especially enjoyed one-act plays and was just in Moon Over Buffalo at Amarillo College.
Blaze is survived by his parents - Terry Rhonda Coffee of Panhandle, brother - Adam Coffee and wife Shannon of Panhandle, sister - Kristen Coffee of Panhandle, grandparents - Saundra McCoy of Panhandle, Tina Coffee of Amarillo, nieces and nephews- Jadyn Dallas Coffee and Topher Coffee all of Panhandle.
In lieu of flowers, blood donations to Coffee Memorial Blood Center in Amarillo may be made in memory of Blaze.
