James Colley

James P. Colley, 78, died Friday, July 27th, 2007 in Amarillo, Texas.BRBRServices are scheduled for Monday, July 30th in the Minton Memorial Chapel with Bro. Fines Marchman officiating. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery Pampa, Texas under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Casket bearers are Ira Colley, Tommy McLaughlin, Bruce Brame and Wayne Pogue.BRBRMr. Colley was born on January 18, 1929 in Pampa. He married Betty McCrate on March 16, 1950 in Pampa. He worked in the laboratory for Philtex Plant and was a member of the Calvery Baptist Church, was a 32nd degree Mason and member of the Isom Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed working in his lawn and garden.BRBRHe was preceded in death by his father, Ira Colley and his son, Linton Colley.BRBRHe is survived by his mother - Marie Colley of Skellytown, wife - Betty of the home, two sons - Craig Colley of Borger and Leigh Colley of Arlington, Tx., five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
