James Cornelius

James Grover Cornelius, 70, of Borger died Saturday June 23rd at his home. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Saturday June 30th at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with James Berry, pastor of Southside Baptist officiating and Ed Perry assisting. Burial will be in the Garden of Good Shepherd at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

James was born January 2, 1942 to Grover and Fannie Nix Cornelius. He graduated from Borger High School in 1959. He married Peggy Husky Dec. 25, 1962. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, two sisters and two brothers.

He is survived by his daughter LeAnna and husband Dickie McGuire of Borger. Two grandchildren Hanna Truett and Hayden McGuire.
