James Harrison, Sr.

James Leroy Harrison, Sr., 55. of Borger died Wednesday in Amarillo.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Terry Porter, Pastor officiating. Interment will be in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Harrison was born May 9, 1953. He married Brenda Hooks on August 29, 1975 in Borger. He attended First Nazarene Church of Borger and was a construction worker in the oilfield, and worked for Northwest Insulation. James loved to spend time with his grandchildren and his nieces and nephews, collecting knives and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife Brenda Harrison of Borger; a son James Leroy Harrison, Jr. and wife Brandi, 3 daughters Heather Hodges and husband Jesse, Mary Hodges and husband Josh, and Miranda Piedra and eight grandchildren all of Borger.

Casket bearers will be Rodney Kerbo, Tracy Kerbo, James Hooks, Chett Ramsey, Tony Piedra and Spencer Deschaines.
