James Hearon, Sr., 86, died Friday, October 27th, 2006 in Lubbock, Texas.BRBRServices will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ with Rev. William Scott officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Garden at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger, Texas.BRBRMr. Hearon was born on September 22, 1920 in Porter, Mississippi and had lived in Lubbock for the past year. He was a truck driver for 4-R Supply and served in the US Navy during WW II. He married Neta Mae Belle on July 24, 1974 in Panhandle, Texas and she preceded him in death by in 1994. He was also preceded in death by his third wife, Margie Phllips, and stepson - Wayne Conict Tillmon. He was a member of New Zion Baptist Church.BRBRHe is survived by four sons - George Hearon and wife, Layla of Borger, Vincent Hearon and wife Donna of Pampa, Dean Hearon and wife, Valerie and James Hearon Jr. and wife Mary all of Lubbock; daughter - Lola Hearon Brown of Borger; step daughter-in-law - Dorothy Tillmon of Amarillo, thirteen step-children - Roger L. Tillmon and wife Wilma and L.T. Tillmon and wife Vera all of Los Angeles, CA., Robert L. Tillmon and wife Linda of Lubbock, Bobbie Ray Tillmon and wife, Doris of Pampa, Richard C. Tillmon and wife LaReta of Levelland, Mary Lou Daniels and husband Levie, Margaret Monroe, and Marie Sherwood and husband Tim all of Amarillo, Helen Roberts of DeSota, Loraine Carden and husband Jasper of Oklahoma City, OK, Mary Penns of Amarillo, Kateria Norman and Alexander Wheeler both of Borger, numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Casket bearers will be Darren Brown, Ricky Davis, Leroy Jones, Daniel Burse, Ricky Dickson, Dwight Coffer, James Penns, Lee Ward and his grandsons.
