James Jim Hudson, 86, died Tuesday, February 22, 2011 in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Westlawn Memorial Park with Mr. Richard Kasko, minister of the Fritch Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Serenity at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
Mr. Hudson was born on July 26, 1924 in Perico, Texas and had lived in Fritch for 37 years. He served in the US Navy during WW II and was a Seaman 2nd class. He was in law enforcement in Amarillo, Borger, Spearman and Fritch and retired in 1991 as the Chief of Police in Fritch. He was a member of the St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Borger.
Jim is survived by his wife Judith Hudson of the home, three sons James Hudson and wife Jodie of Rockwell, TX, Don Cole and wife Darla of Fritch, Jim Cole and wife Diane of Lubbock, daughterinlaw Penny Murrow of Mustang, OK, sister Bobbie Martin of Big Springs, TX, eight grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
