James Augustus Jackson, 63, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009 in Lubbock, Texas.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch. Interment will be in Evergreen Garden at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
James was born on December 30, 1945 in Amarillo and had lived in Lubbock since 1990. He was a Southern Baptist. James loved to sing, getting mail, cards and gifts, pizza, spaghetti, candy cake. He liked to ride his bicycle and a horse named Jan. He liked to drive the lawnmower, liked model cars and John Wayne. He enjoyed memorizing and learning the makes and models of all cars. His dream was to be a policeman.
James was preceded in death by his parents - Jack Beulah Jackson, sister - Thelma Carole and his twin brother who died at birth.
He is survived by his cousins - Ronnie Debbie Hollar and Tim Olivia Hollar all of Fritch, Robbie Hollar of Houston, Charlotte Beedle of Sanford and several other cousins.
Memorials may be made to the Borger Satellite Workshop, 28 Pantex St., Borger 79007.
