James Jones

James Earl Jones, 66, of Borger died Saturday November 19, 2011 in Borger. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday November 26 at United Methodist Church in Paducah, Texas with Bobby Evans, pastor of Antioch Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors and McBee Family Funeral Home.

James was born May 17, 1945 at Paris, Texas to James and Lenora Ainsworth Jones. He worked as a Janitor for ABC Studio in California. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother J. C. Jones.

He is survived by his wife Louise of L. A., California. Sons Carlos Jones of Borger, Thurman Smart of Dallas, Texas, Cornell Jones of L. A. California, Jimmy Jones of Amarillo, Texas. Daughters Denise Jones of Arlington, Texas, Sherry Jones of L. A. California and Jalanaina Jones of L. A., California. Brothers Leroy Jones, Carl Jones and John Jones all of Borger. Sisters Erma Smith, Merlean Embers, Carolyn Jones, Betty Jones and Novella Jones all of Borger. Nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

James Earl Jones will lie in state at Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors in Borger on Tuesday November 22, 2011 from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and Wednesday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
