James Kossey

James Eugene Kossey, 72, died Thursday, April 3, 2008 in Amarillo, Texas.BRBRServices will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at New Beginnings Church with Pastor Don White officiating. Interment will be in Vesperland Garden at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.BRBRMr. Kossey was born on September 17, 1935 in Abilene, Texas and had been a Fritch resident since 1993. He was a welder for Lock Heed Martin and served eight years in the National Guard. He married Alice Webb on February 8, 1959 in Borger. He was a member of New Beginnings Church and served as a deacon in the church. He was preceded in death by his son, Jackie in 1960 and his parents - Leonard and Alma Kossey.BRBRHe is survived by his wife, Alice of the home, son - Mike Kossey and wife Tina of Borger, daughter - Cindy Crowder and husband Bill of Fritch, two brothers - Billy Kossey of Waxahachie, TX, Jerry Kossey of Lancaster, TX., two sisters- Virginia Carlisle husband Mickey of Borger, Martha Allen of Irving, TX., six grandchildren - Elicia Kay Sansom, Damon Laci Ryan, Tammy Heard husband Casey, Cody Cole wife Lisa, Daniel Cole wife Anita, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren
