James Milanovich

James Lee Jim Milanovich, 64, died Wednesday, October 6, 2010 in Amarillo.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Bunavista Baptist Church with Pastor Robert Hensley, officiating. Cremation was under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Milanovich was born on September 27, 1946 in Pittsburgh, PA and had been a Borger resident since 1989, moving here from Hobbs, NM. He married Margaret McMillen on January 28, 1981 in Weatherford, TX and was a member of Bunavista Baptist Church. He was a maintenance man at two motels and an apartment complex, was groundskeeper for Huber Golf Course and was also a truck driver. He was a good mechanic and hard worker and he enjoyed life and people, was a wonderful husband and friend, was caring and thoughtful and enjoyed his church and church family.

Jim was survived by his wife Margaret of the home, son Kurt Milanovich of Chillicothe, MO, daughter Angela Milanovich of Missouri, stepdaughter Kris Barton and husband Brian of Aberdeen, SD, brother Danny Milanovich and wife Charlotte of Falcon, MO, seven grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.
