James Murrell

James Dennis Murrell 63 of Fritch went to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, July 16, 2018 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday at Grace Church in Borger. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. There will be a Family and Friends visitation Friday July 20, 2018, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

Dennis was born December 9, 1954 in Borger to James Junior Murrell and Velta Mae (Trollinger) Murrell. He grew up in Fritch. He worked as a gas plant operator. He married Jackie Bocock March 9, 1974 at Boise City, Oklahoma. He was a member of Family Celebration Church in Fritch. He was a member of Soldiers for Christ Motorcycle group. He loved swimming and tinkering on cars and different things. He enjoyed the mountains and telling people about Jesus.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Cathy Snider.

Surviving are his wife Jackie. Son Jay Murrell and wife Connie of Amarillo. Daughters Denise Ledet and husband Rob of Borger; Rebecca Wood and husband Brandon of Perryton. Brother Donnie Murrell of Fritch. Sister Delena Burks and husband Walter of Fritch. Six grandchildren Lance, Krista, Zayne, Payton, Allie, and Emma. One great grandchild Briar.
