James Douglas Rhoton, 71, of Borger, died Wednesday, February 8, 2012.

No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

James Douglas Rhoton was born November 4, 1940 in Hamlin to Thomas June and Maurine Rhoton. He was a lifetime resident of Borger, and married Jan Cole September 2, 2004 in Stinnett. James loved operating heavy equipment, and worked at Anderson Construction as a equipment operator. He enjoyed the outdoors, dogs, and doing things for his family, and others.

James Rhoton is survived by his wife Jan mother Maurine Rhoton of Borger a son Terry Rhoton of Lyles, Tennessee daughter Mary Ann Stinson and husband Paul of Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, and two grandchildren, Desirae and Senan Wayne Rhoton.

James is preceded in death by his father June Rhoton in 2007, and a sister Virginia Shull in 2003.
