James Allen Wiley, 73, died Monday, September 18, in Amarillo. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Grace Fellowship Church with Pastor Ricky Griffin officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Love at Westlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Wiley was born April 28,1933 in Foster, OK. He married Dot Weems August 23, 1952 in Elmore City, OK, and was co-owner of Independent Drilling and GCW Oil Co and 4A Logging and Perforating. He enjoyed Las Vegas trips with his daughters and watching his grandkids sporting events. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife. Survivors include his four daughters - Vicky Martin, Gayla Pyron, both of Amarillo, Julie and Michael Ellis of Borger, Jamie and Doug Carroll of Round Rock, TX; brother - Don Wiley of Foster, OK; sister - Marilyn Blaker of Houston, TX; eight grandchildren - Casey Griffin, Marcy and Craig Hallden, Tara Griffin, Kyle Cato, Michelle Martin, Michael Carroll, Jonathan Carroll and Clayton Ellis; three great grandchildren - Layson Griffin, Landon Griffin and Hudson Hallden. Casket Bearers will be Casey Griffin, Doug Carroll, Kyle Cato, Michael Carroll, Jonathan Carroll, Clayton Ellis and Michael Ellis. The family wishes to thank the staff of Riverstone Assisted Living in Amarillo and asks that memorials be made to: Hospice of the Southwest, 1500 S. Coulter Ste. 3, Amarillo, TX 79106. The family will be staying at 411 Bois D Arc, Borger, TX and will have a family visitation at the funeral home Wednesday 6-8 p.m.
