Jane Hunt

Jane Nawnaw Lavern Hunt, 66, died Sunday, March 6, 2011 in Borger.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in The Garden of Devotion at Highland Park Cemetery with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, Pastor of Bible Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Hunt was born on November 12, 1944 in Phillips, Texas to Harden Alice Searcy and had been a lifetime resident of Borger. She married Robert Hunt on July 16, 1968 in Borger, and he preceded her in death in 2005. She was also preceded in death by her sister Joan Patrick.

Mrs. Hunt was a bus driver and cafeteria worker for BISD and was a Baptist. She loved her grandkids.

She is survived by her daughter Stacy Nivens and husband Brad of Borger, three sisters Judy Stowers of Borger, Betty Herrelson of Kilgore, Mary Bennett of Sapulpa, OK, two grandsons Joshua Howell and Brady Nivens both of Borger, and her aunt Lois Laughton of Sacramento, CA.
