Javaughn Williams

JaVaughn LaDale Williams (aka "Vonnie") was born September 24, 1982 in Borger, Texas to Chester Williams and Tammie Stoker. He grew up in Borger, Texas and Savannah, Georgia. He was the oldest brother of Jylyn and Tabitha Williams, MelCary Banks, Shane Williams, Tariji Williams and Ebony Jarrett.

He enjoyed listening to music, playing Super Nintendo video games, dining out at various restaurants, styling in the latest men's designer fashions and traveling.

He worked as a truck driver for KLLM Transport Services of Morrow, Georgia and traveled all over the United States.

The greatest joy and love of his life was his only son JaVaughn LaDale Williams, Jr. (aka "Stank"). They shared a strong bonded relationship.
He was an awesome father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.

When you needed encouragement, he always had kind words to say and would embrace you with a warm tight hug.

He was a big kid at heart with a zest for life.

JaVaughn passed away on September 3, 2018. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elva and Shirley Williams; uncle, Don Williams; and aunt, Deborah Stoker-Hill.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories to his parents, Chester Williams of Borger, Texas; Tammie Stoker of Dallas; stepfather, Capt. Michael White of Savannah, Georgia; son, JaVaughn Williams, Jr. of Savannah, Georgia; brothers, Jylyn Williams of Atlanta, Georgia, MelCary Banks of Emporia, Virginia, Shane Williams of Mainz, Germany; sisters, Tabitha Williams of Amarillo, Tariji Williams of Borger, Ebony Jarrett of Borger; grandparents, L.C. and Dorothy Stoker of Borger; uncles, Elva Williams, Jr. of Norfolk, Virginia, Daral Williams of Borger, Mark Stoker and wife Ann of Dallas; aunts, Charlotte Williams of Houston, Sharon Thorp of Dallas, Modina Smith of Borger, Kimberly Stoker of Dallas and Kendra Stoker of Pampa; and a host of dear cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at New Jerusalem Church of God In Christ with Pastor Harry Williams, officiating. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
