J.C. Prince

J. C. Prince, 83, died Sunday, February 20, 2011 in Borger.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of Christ in Fritch with Mr. Richard Kasko, minister officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Devotion at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. J.C. will be at the Borger location for viewing.

J.C. was born on September 18, 1927 in Bixby, OK and had been a BorgerFritch area resident since 1948. He served in the US Army and retired from Phillips in 1985 as a carpenter. J.C. married Jenny King in 1963 in Borger. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Fritch, a member of the Panhandle Bird Dog Association and was an avid field trialer. He was preceded in death by his wife Jenny, two sons Kenneth Beaty and Kenneth Prince, and his daughter Glenda Guinn.

J.C. is survived by three sons Jerry Prince and wife Trisha,Bob Beaty and wife Connie both of Borger, Bill Beaty of Kermit, TX, a daughter Sharon Smith and husband Ernie of Fritch, daughterinlaw Robin Beaty of Mustang, OK, ten grandchildren and seventeen greatgrandchildren.
