Jeannie Pomeroy

Jeannie Gay Pomeroy, 55, passed away Friday, April 20, 2018.

A celebration of her life will be held 11 am Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Unity Church in Borger with Pastor James Hodges officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Jeannie was born June 9, 1962 in Borger to Jesse Frank Hodges and Jean Bates Hodges. She married Dan Pomeroy on August 19, 1989 in Borger. She enjoyed doing crafts, cooking, fishing and gardening. Nothing meant more to her than being with her friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Darrell Hodges, Michael Hodges, Steven Hodges, David Hodges and sisters, Phyllis Hodges and Pam Jones.

Survivors include her husband, Dan of Stinnett; son, Chip Pomeroy and wife Jordon of Granbury; daughters, Angie Olivas and husband Isaac of Fritch, Melissa Melanson of Granbury; five grandchildren; brother, Gary Hodges and wife Rhonda of Borger; sisters, Kay Hebert and husband J.D. of Borger, Debra Hooten and husband Jerry of Bastrop; second mother, Mary Davis of Borger; special friend, Sonia Carrick of Stinnett; numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved very much; and a host of extended family.
