Jeffrey Scott Kay, 58, of Borger died Friday, December 14, 2012 in Amarillo.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the Minton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Blain Shelton of Grace Church officiating. Viewing will be Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Jeffrey was born September 14, 1954 in Central Falls, Rhode Island to James and Dorothy Berry Kay. He married Christine Benedict November 21, 1981 in San Diego, California. Jeff was a Borger resident for the last four and half years moving from Devine, Texas. He had lived in numerous places working in the retail business, and was the assistant manager at the Walmart store in Borger. He loved playing the guitar, golf, football, and listening to music.

Survivors include his wife Christine his mother Dorothy Kay of San Diego, California two daughters Holly Morris and husband Chris of Fritch, Jessica Kay also of Fritch his son James Kay of Amarillo his brother Jim Kay and wife Molly of San Diego, California his sister Audrey Kay also of San Diego three grandsons Charles Morris, Skyler and Kayden Rasmussen.

Jeffrey is preceded in death by his father, and his sister Sharon Diane Kay.
