Jerry Mcclure

Jerry Wayne McClure, 60, passed away peacefully in Hobbs, New Mexico, Thursday, April 18, 2013.

Memorial service will be held 2 pm Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the First Assembly of God Church in Fritch with Rev. Justin Unwin officiating.

He was born August 17, 1952 in Spokane, Washington to Jerry and Shirley Thrasher McClure. Jerry claimed Borger as his permanent home when he was six. Jerry Wayne loved to make people laugh. He was a great story teller and would tell his stories to anyone who would listen and some who wouldnt. He was a very proud Texan and wanted everyone to know it. His true passions were skydiving and driving his tractor. Jerry Wayne was a very devoted father, grandfather, son, brother and a true friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Jerry McClure and a son, Caleb Wayne McClure.

He is survived by his daughter, Whitney McClure son, Logan McClure both of Salem, Oregon mother, Shirley McClure sister, Lisa McClure brother, Caleb McClure all of Fritch two grandsons, Mason and Hudson of Salem, Oregon three nephews, Jared McClure, Hunter McClure, Davyun Wickerson niece, Lindsay Rayburn all of Fritch.
