Jerry Clifton Tidwell, 72, died Tuesday, December 14, 2010 in Amarillo.

Memorial Services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, Pastor of Bible Baptist Church officiating. Cremation was by MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Tidwell was a lifetime resident of Borger and a family man. He was born August 30, 1938 in Clarendon, TX and was retired from Phillips Petroleum Co. as an operator. Jerry also had Tidwell Auto Sales in Borger.

He is survived by his wife Sharon, his son Jerry Tidwell and wife Shawna of Borger, his daughter Tammy Velasco and husband Richard of El Paso, 2 Brothers David Sargent of Dallas and Greg Sargent of Houston, his sister Marilyn Taylor and husband Daryl of Amarillo, 4 Grandchildren, Dustin, Mandy, Mishaela and Levi and 4 GreatGrandchildren.

Family will be at 114 Fairview in Borger.
