Jesse Garrett

Fritch Jesse Ray Garrett, 64, of Fritch, died Friday at his home. A visitation for family and friends is scheduled for 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the family home at 197 Harbor Drive in Fritch. Arrangements are under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. Jesse married Linda Turner on November 5, 1963 in Vega, TX. Although he loved to camp, fish and go boating, his main passion in life was loving his family and playing with his grandkids. He was preceeded in death by his parents and a sister. Survivors include his wife, Linda, of the home; three sons - Jack Garrett wife Myra of Amarillo, Jerry Garrett of Amarillo and Jeff Garrett of Missouri; a daughter - Loretta Forbis and husband Chris of Canyon; two brothers - Don Garrett of Lubbock and Allen Garrett of Woodland Park, CO; two sisters - Dorothy Ralston and Karen Garrett both of Amarillo and 10 grandchildren - Bo Garrett. Amber Garrett, Lindsey Garrett, Ashley Nichols, Christian Bowers, Cody Garrett, Jordan Garrett, Katelyn Garrett, Tristan Forbis and Marissa Garrett.
