Jesse Darryl "Jay" "J.D." Rodriguez, 32, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 4 pm on Friday, February 9, 2018 in the Minton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tim Hall officiating. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Jesse was born October 25, 1985 in Borger to Olga Rodriguez. He married Ashley Lermon on April 18, 2015 in Borger. Jesse attended Borger High School. He enjoyed fishing, carpentry and barbecuing for family gatherings. Jesse had a big heart and an even bigger smile. He liked to laugh and had great sense of humor.

He is preceded in death by his grandpa, Eddie Rodriguez.

Survivors include his wife, Ashley of Borger; son, Cano Thomas Erasmo Rodriguez; daughter, Phoenyx Ali Marie Rodriguez; mother, Olga Rodriguez; grandmother, Alicia Rodriguez; brother, John Michael McDonald of Borger; sisters, Jasha Martinez of Borger, Samantha Robles of Amarillo, Desiree Robles of Borger, Kelsi McDonald of Borger, Danisha McDonald of Borger; and a host of extended family.
