Jesse David Schick

Jesse David “JD” Schick, 72 of Fritch passed away in Lubbock, Texas on Saturday, January 13, 2024.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, in the Minton Memorial Chapel in Borger.  Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.  In lieu of flowers his memory may be honored with a gift to the Humane Society of Pagosa Springs, 465 Colman Blvd, Pagosa Springs, Colorado, 81147 or to Gracie's Project, PO Box 2512, Amarillo, Texas, 79105.

JD Schick was born March 27, 1951, in Spearman, Texas to Walter and Lorraine (Lamp) Schick. He has lived in Fritch since 1976. JD worked at ASARCO as a mechanic. JD married Jana McKinney on May 25, 1991, in Borger. He enjoyed fishing and camping.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Lorraine Schick.

Survivors include his wife Jana of Fritch; son, Clay Schick of Grapevine, Texas; and brother, Mike Schick of Morse, Texas.
