Jessie Emma Flue, 97, died Sunday, January 17, 2010 in Panhandle, Texas.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Scott Fargo, grandson, officiating. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mrs. Flue was born on November 12, 1912 in Crawford, Texas to Joseph Georgia Keahey. She had been a Borger resident since 1941. She was a homemaker and member of Fairlanes Baptist Church. Jessie loved her grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and greatgreat grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Flue in 1982 and six sisters.
Survivors include two sons James Gale Flue and wife Peggy of Cleveland, Norman Dale Flue and wife Kathy of Georgetown, two daughters Gloria Faye Barnes and husband Larry of Borger, Patricia Lorene Heard and husband H.C. of Fritch, sister Dora Seiber of Oregon, nineteen grandchildren, thirtysix greatgrandchildren and eleven greatgreat grandchildren.
Casket bearers will be her grandsons and greatgrandsons.
There will be a visitation for family and friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home in Borger.
