Jessie Ratliff

Borger Jessie Darlene Ratliff, 56, died Saturday, June 2nd in Borger. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at the Eternal Light Church with Bro. Willy Adams, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in the Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Jessie was born on August 3, 1950 to Johnnie W. and Rowena Garrard in Borger. She married Gerald Ratliff on August 2, 1969. She was a homemaker and loved arts and crafts, cooking, her two dogs, she was a hairstylist and especially loved to take care of her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Johnny E. Garrard. Survivors include her husband, Gerald of the home, her mother, Rowena Garrard of Stinnett, 2 sons - Michael Ratliff Sr. and wife Jennifer of Borger and Edward A. Ratliff of Hobbs, NM; 2 stepsons - Keith Allen Ratliff and Philip Ratliff and wife Donnetta all of Amarillo; a daughter - Misty Barker and husband Duel of Borger; 2 brothers - Preston Garrard and wife Theresa of Stinnett and Allen Garrard and wife Patsy of Amarillo; 3 sisters - Shirley Samford and Leanna Hooks, both of Stinnett and Terry Larson of Borger; and 8 grandchildren. Casket bearers will be Michael Ratliff, Sr., Duel Barker, Rodney Kerbo, Jeff Kitchen, Robbie Hodges, David Garrard, Bobby Bassham and Rickie Padilla. The family will be staying at 1003 Harrison, Borger.
