Jimmy Allen Blankenship, 79 of Stinnett died Sunday November 29th in Fritch. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, December 3rd at Victory Baptist in Stinnett with Rev. Jimmy Lewis, pastor officiating. Burial will be in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, December 2nd at the funeral home from 5pm to 7pm.
Jimmy was born August 6, 1936 in Colbert, OK to John Lewis and Alvis Veatrice Wiley Blankenship. He was a gauger for Phillips before retiring. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He married Joyce Willard May 2, 1957 at Neodesha, KS. He loved music playing in several bands.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister and a son Steven Mark Blankenship.
He is survived by his wife Joyce of Stinnett. Sons Paul of Stinnett and Mike and wife Tamara of Fritch. Brother Mark of Calera, OK. Sister Elaine Mullens of Calera, OK. Four grandchildren.
Family will be at the Lee Wright residence 324 Comanche in Scotts Acres Stinnett.
