Jo Haddox

Nancy "Jo" Haddox, 80, of Borger died Saturday, December 31, 2016 in Borger.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the Borger Word of Life Church with Associate Pastor Christina Green officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Serenity at Westlawn Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Jo was born May 26, 1936 in Mason, Oklahoma to Ray and Beaulah (Wells) Adams. She married James Haddox May 26, 1954 in Bristow, Oklahoma, and had been a Borger resident since 1955.

Jo was a member of the Borger Word of Life Church and loved her grandkids, especially watching them play sports. She was a serious Dallas Cowboy, and Oklahoma Sooner fan.

She is survived by two sons Joey Haddox and wife Rene, Shane Haddox and wife Christy, both of Borger; her daughter Renda Turner of Borger; two brothers Raymond Adams of Mason, Oklahoma, Cotton Adams of Okemah, Oklahoma; four sisters Ina Mae Teafatiller of Canon City, Colorado, Carolyn Cheatwood and Dorothy Ross both of Okemah, Oklahoma, Wilma Farley of Cushing, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Cody, Colton, Cade, Landon, Shade, Chance, and Jayce; six great-grandchildren, Karley, Rylee, Maverick, Hunter, McKynlee, and Kinzer.

Jo is preceded in death by her husband James, June 22, 2000; two sisters Wanda Adams, and Murleen Stiles.

Jo will be available for viewing at 2 p.m. Sunday January 1, 2017.
