Jo Young

Jo Ann Young went to our Heavenly Father on September 25, 2017. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am at Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.
Jo was born on November 13, 1934 in North Platte Nebraska. She married Bill Young on March 26, 1964. Jo and Bill moved to Panhandle, TX from Oklahoma City, OK in 1989. During her long career in the banking industry, she worked as a teller, loan officer and financial advisor. She especially enjoyed her years working at the First National Bank of Panhandle where she made many friends. Jo loved gardening and loved to read.
Jo was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Jim Brumfield, her daughter, Jamie Cisney and her beloved husband, Bill.
She is survived by her two sons, Steve and William, both of Panhandle, Texas and their wives, Mary Beth and Jody. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Trinity by the Sea Episcopal Church, Box 346 Port Aransas, TX 78373 Attention: Homes for Displaced Port Aransas Marlins. (Providing temporary housing for the people of Port Aransas, TX, Hurricane Harvey Relief)
