Joan Elaine Heare, 65, died Sunday, April 19, 2009 in Panhandle.BRBRServices are pending with MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.BRBRMrs. Heare was born on July 26, 1943 in Waxahachie, Texas and had been a Panhandle resident for 46 years. She married Gerald Dean Heare on May 13, 1967 in Panhandle and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, enjoyed reading Christian books, working puzzles, loved her family and friends and also loved her church family. She was preceded in death by her parents Howard Lavern and Helen Louise Walker.BRBRShe is survived by her husband, Gerald Heare of the home, two daughters - Elaine Heare of Panhandle, Linda Burleson of Lamesa, two brothers Mike Walker of Cleburne, Tx., Bill Walker of Tucson, AZ, and two grandchildren - Zachery Burleson and Adam Burleson.
