Joan Jackson

Joan Jackson, 79, of Borger died Monday July 4th at Dumas.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Andrew United Methodist Church with Rev. Ted Wilson, pastor officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Love at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Joan was born May 12, 1932 at Hagerman, NM to William and Berthyl Graham. She married Hugh Jackson Sept. 2, 1951 at Roswell, NM. She had been a Borger resident since 1951. She loved her kids , grandkids and great grandkids more than anything else in the world. She would do anything she could for them. She loved to garden and work in her flower beds. She would rather be outside among her flowers all day rather being inside and was a great cook. She was Miss Roswell, NM and earned many honors at Texas Tech.

She is survived by her husband of the Home. Son Dick Jackson and wife Jackie of Purcell, Ok. Daughter Cindy Head and husband Jim of Borger. Brother Billy Wayne Graham of Albuquerque,NM. Four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren
