Joe Cunningham

Joe Edgar Cunningham, 84 of Fritch passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at home with his family by his side. There will be private services under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. He will lie in state on Sunday from noon to 8:00 pm and 9:00 am to 11:00 am in Fritch.

Joe was born February 2, 1934 in Tallahatchie County, MS to Greek L. and Fannie Deloney (Sellers) Cunningham. He was a member of Church of God in Borger. He married Joyce Sellers August 27, 1955 in Clovis, NM. He lived in Fritch for sixty years. He loved to hunt, fish, play music and golf.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Beverly, three brothers and four sisters.

Joe is survived by his wife Joyce. Sons Joe Cunningham Jr and wife Pam of Houston; Gary and wife Lisa of Lewisville, KY; Steven Glen of Amarillo; James and wife Dawn of Billings, MT; John and wife Larissa of Amarillo. Daughters Charlotte Bennett and husband Jim; Karen Cunningham of Fritch. Sister Vivigean Dewberry of Bartlett, TN. 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren with 2 on the way.
