Joe Lee

Joe Thomas Lee, 88, died February 8, 2014 in Borger. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Christ at Borger with Denny Sneed, Minister officiating. Services under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Joe was born to William Thomas Lee and Lois May Bishop Lee November 7, 1925 in Kingston, OK. He moved to Borger in 1927 where he graduated from Borger High School in 1942, went on to graduate from Texas Tech University with a bachelors degree and then received his masters degree from West Texas State University. Joe worked for J. M. Huber Corp. as a Purchasing Manager for many years. He was proud of his children and grandchildren, enjoyed camping and traveling. He was a proud Veteran of WWII in the U. S. Navy where he was a Signalman. Joe married Donna Baker May 5, 1957 in Amarillo.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Joe is survived by his wife of 56 years Donna, two sons Brian Lee and his wife Julie of Grapevine, TX and Jeff Lee of Euless, TX, his daughter Lisa Blain and her husband Kyle of Marietta, Ohio, four grandsons Derek, Cooper, Preston and Parker.
