John Raymond Abbott, 74 of Borger passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2020 in Borger. No services are planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

John was born March 28, 1945 in Dumas, TX to Ray and Willa May (Shaw) Abbott. He attended Victory Baptist Church in Stinnett. He worked at Mikes Service as a mechanic.He married marry Gillis 38 years ago.

Surviving is his wife Mary of Borger. Step daughters Sharlene Freeman of Borger and Mary Ann Jewell of Ohio. Sisters Joetta of OK; Debbie of Fritch and Helen Bags of Fritch. Thirteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
