John Lattig

John Franklin Lattig, 64, died Saturday in Amarillo. Rosary service will be 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Minton Memorial Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Johns Catholic Church with Msgr. Michael Colwell, Pastor officiating. Interment of his cremains will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors.

John has lived in Fritch for the past 22 years he worked for Lewis Supply in Borger for 10 years and then worked as a Corrections Officer for the TDCJ at the Clements Unit until recently. Before moving to the area John was in the Auto Body Shop business for over 20 years in California. He married Brenda Sousa in 1970 in Las Vegas, NV. John was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church and was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Joanna Nielson.

He is survived by his wife Brenda, his son John Lattig II of Fritch, his brother Larry Lattig of Bellingham, WA, two sisters Janet Lattig and Judy Heidt both of Bellingham, WA, 4 Grandchildren Raquel Spencer, Johnny Lattig, Jennifer Lattig and Michael Spencer, 1 GreatGranddaughter Natalie Rose Lattig.
