John Quinn

John Adrian Quinn, 64, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2014.

Funeral service will be held 2 pm Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Borger Word of Life Church, Borger, Texas under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Known by his family as Big John he was born August 21, 1950 in Antlers, Oklahoma to Oliver and Aubie Quinn. He married the love of his life, Peggy Shuman on June 16, 1973. They moved to Borger in 1989. Once in Borger he worked as an entrepreneur and business owner. John was an avid hunter, sports enthusiast and could be found on his Goldwing. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 19721978.

His parents preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Quinn of the home son, Aaron Quinn and wife Dejah of Shawnee, Oklahoma daughter, Candace McCoy and husband Jon of Borger two grandchildren, Jadyn and Josiah and sisters, Judy Lee of Antlers and Jeanie Jenkins of Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
