Johnnie Mae Howard, 77, died Tuesday, December 5th, 2006 in Lubbock, Texas.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Terry Stegall, Associate Pastor of Grace Fellowship Church officiating. Interment will be in Memory Lane Garden at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Howard was born on June 9, 1929 in McLean, Texas and had been a Borger resident since 1943. She married Fred Howard on December 30, 1949 in Borger, and he preceded her in death on November 7, 1998. She was a secretary for the Borger Independent School District, and was a member of 1st Presbyterian Church in Borger.BRBRHer survivors include one daughter, Dian Jones and her husband, Steven of Allen, TX, three grandchildren - Stefanie Joanidis, Shannon Belding and Andrew Jones, three great-grandchildren - Haley, Ashley and Lacey.BRBRCasket bearers will be Steve Jones, Andrew Jones, Jason Joanidis, Dale Howard, Bud Howard and Lonnie Jones.BR
