Johnny Walter Anglen, 71, died Tuesday, November 27th in Amarillo.BRBRServices will be at 10:30 a.m. at Bunavista Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Hensley, Pastor officiating. Interment will be in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMr. Anglen was born on April 3,1936 in Malta Bend, Missouri and had been a Borger resident for 60 years. He graduated from Borger High School in 1954. He was a stillman for Philllips Petroleum Co. and served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the BPOE 1581 and was a former exalted ruler.BRBRHe is survived by his wife - Barbara of the home, son - Russell Anglen and wife Jayna of Amarillo, two daughters - Stacy Jelmini and husband David of Sandy, Utah, Sammie Henslee of Stinnett, brother - Chester Anglen of Waxahachie, TX., sister - Margaret Brock of Amarillo, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Casket bearers will be Roger Gregory, Jim Majors, Bruce Williams, Jerry Stanford, Val Boothe and Danny Truelock.
