Johnny Frank Rodriguez

Johnny Frank Rodriguez, 72 of Borger passed away in Amarillo. Rosary will be at 6:00 pm August 28, 2023, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Tuesday August 29, 2023.

Johnny was born February 1, 1951, in Levelland, Texas to Augustine and Concha (Lopez) Rodriguez. He was a welder at Phil Tex for 39 years. He married Michelle Reeves in April 1978 in Borger. He was a long-standing member of the Knights of Columbus, Mowrons and never met a stranger. He volunteered at the Salvation Army or anywhere he was needed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and many brothers and sisters.

Surviving are his sons, John Rodriguez, Jr. of Fairfield, California, Richard Rodriguez and wife Eimile of Lubbock, Texas; daughters, Gloria Diaz and husband Roy of San Antonio, Texas, Robyn Rohrbough and husband Ed of Lawton, Oklahoma; brothers, Edward Rodriguez and wife Claudia of Borger, Sam Rodriguez of Wimauma, Florida, Robert Rodriguez of Borger, Cruz Rodriguez of Borger; sisters, Rosa Neeley of Rock Hills, South Carolina, Anna Rodriguez of Amarillo, Texas and Emma Rodriguez of Wimauma, Florida; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
