Joyce Darlene Blankenship

Joyce Darlene Blankenship, 83, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers her memory may be honored with a gift to the Stinnett Area Volunteer Fire Department Association, PO Box 1183, Stinnett, Texas 79083, the Stinnett Ministerial Alliance, PO Box 396, Stinnett, Texas, 79083, any of the area Fire Departments, or anyone that has been affected by the wildfires.  

Joyce Darlene Willard was born October 18, 1940, in Neodesha, Kansas to Howard Willard and Cecile Ramey Willard.  She married Jimmy Blankenship on May 2, 1957, in Neodesha, Kansas.  Joyce was a member of Victory Baptist Church.  In her younger years she enjoyed traveling with her family.  Joyce liked watching television and visiting with friends and family.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Cecile Willard; husband Jimmy; son; Steven Mark Blankenship; brothers, JR, Virgil "Bud", Bobby, and Jimmy.

Survivors include her sons, Paul Blankenship of Stinnett, Mike Blankenship and his wife Tamara of Fritch; grandchildren, Eric, Nathan, Emma, Rhiannon; sister, JoAnn Katzer and husband David of Tennessee; and a host of extended family.
