Joyce Haynes

Borger Funeral services for Joyce Y. Haynes, 79, will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of the 1st Baptist Church with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, Pastor of Bible Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Haynes was born in Quitaque, TX to Emmett and Ethel Shelton. She has lived in Borger since1944 and was a 1948 graduate of Borger High School. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and she loved her dogs. Joyce married W. C. Buddy Haynes March 31, 1947 in Clovis, NM.

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, 1 brother and 1 greatgrandson Derrick Humphreys.

She is survived by her husband of over 63 years W. C. Buddy Haynes, her daughter Carmen Shopteese of Borger, 3 Grandchildren Eric Shopteese and wife Leigh, Brandon Shopteese and wife Misty and Amber Shopteese Humphrey and husband Eric and 6 GreatGrandchildren Chase, Alex, Star, Tyler, Shylah and Stormy.
