Joyce Hunter

Joyce Gene Hunter, 94, died December 11, 2021 at her home.  Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Celebration Family Church in Fritch with Mr. Richard Kasko officiating.  Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Joyce was born October 19, 1927 in Seminole, OK to Jay G. Stults and Della McCauley Stults. She married Casey Hunter October 8, 1945 in Seminole, OK and then they moved to Borger.  Joyce taught many students the Piano for Seventy years and worked at Bealls and other retail clothing stores.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Casey, her four sisters, her granddaughter Shelly and her daughter in law Donna Hunter.

Joyce is survived by her two sons Larry Hunter of Fritch and Garry Hunter and his wife Terry of Amarillo, her daughter Teresa Mullennix of Borger, seven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great-grandchildren.

The family will be at 207 Bois D' Arc.

Casket bearers will be Jeremy Farmer, Justin Farmer, Scott Hunter, Braeden Hunter, Jordan Cathey, Easton Farmer, Bryson Warren, Kristopher Hunter and Nathan Hunter.
