Judge Loyd Lummus, 89, died Wednesday, January 24th, 2007 in Borger, Texas.BRBRServices will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Church of Christ at Borger with Mr. Neville Buchanan, Minister and Mr. Richard Kasko, Minister of the Fritch Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Love at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMr. Lummus was born on January 16, 1918 in Cass County, Texas and had been a Borger resident since 1939. He married Ina Mae Shaw on November 5, 1946 in Sherman, Texas and she preceded him in death in June, 1991.BRBRHe was a district gauger for Phillips Pipe Line Co. and served in the U.S. Navy with the Seabees in the Pacific duirng WW II.
Survivors include two sons - Loyd Lummus and wife, Patty of Borger, Troy Lummus and wife, Patti of Katy, Texas, five grandchildren - Brian Lummus and wife, Crystal of Burleson, Tx., Amy Lummus of Amarillo, Tx., Kate Lummus of New York City, New York, Rachel Lummus of Houston, Tx., Jacob Lummus of San Antonio, Tx., and one great-granddaughter - Mayci Ella Lummus of Amarillo, Tx.BRBRMemorials may be made to High Plains Childrens Home, 11461 S.
